Chef required – Busy Counter Service Cafe within a venue – within Sheffield- £14/15,000 - Sociable Hours 8-5pm.
This is a position for an experienced Chef de Partie/Chef to be an essential part of a brigade working within a busy counter service restaurant within a popular venue in the Sheffield area. Please note this will be a very hands on role.
The role: To deliver the menu offering simple homemade fresh food cooked in house. You will be creating dishes that range from quick snacks through to homemade wholesome food along with cakes and pastries. You will be responsible for ensuring that the food and beverage is to the highest standard.
This busy venue offers a cafe that is very popular and can cater up to 80 covers along through a counter service restaurant, so hot food will have to be replenished.
This role offers fantastic hours 8am – 5pm plus – Please note weekends are included in the 5 out of 7
You will be responsible for:
·Meeting company standards
·Implement kitchen procedures and stock control
·Ensure all regulatory legislation relating to health, safety and hygiene is adhered to
·Ensure that customer needs are considered and that feedback is embraced and changes that will help the company progress are implemented
Training will be given and uniform provided
Previous experience in a similar role would be advantages but not essential.
You must have a stable CV with excellent traceable references. You will also require a food hygiene and health and safety certificate.
