Responsibilities 1. Prepare yourself for each shift by ensuring that you are aware of all information by reading the memo folder and taking part in handover. Be aware of the selling strategy.2. At all times strive to represent Marriott/County Hall in the most professional, courteous and efficient manner possible.3. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.4. Due to the nature of our business, you must understand and appreciate that work schedules and demands of the position may vary from time to time.5. Perform any reasonable task as requested by management.6. Understand the hotels' Fire and Safety procedures. Undergo training in fire and security.7. Ensure the cleanliness and neatness of the Front Desk and Back Office.8. Ensure that on a daily basis your uniform and personal grooming and hygiene conform to the standards laid out in the employee handbook.9. Always use the correct standard and LSOP for answering the telephone.10. Have a thorough knowledge of Marsha and Fidelio. Know who to report problems to, and how to action crash procedures.11. Actively participate in GSS, Marriott Rewards and repeat guests. Liaise with the GRM with regards to VIP's and any special procedures which may be necessary to Reception.12. Have an understanding of Accounting and, MOP policies. 13. Ensure your float is out whilst on duty and that it is secured at all times14. Carry out cashier transactions as per the standards expected and laid out in the LSOP's15. Work with the team of Front Desk to complete the tasks for the day covered on the reception checklist.16. Handle any guests' problems or complaints in an understanding and hospitable manner. Resolve through the LEARN process, to ensure challenges are handled swiftly.17. Strive to achieve scouting (Marriott Rewards) and up selling goals 18. Promote the hotels' facilities effectively.19. Always remain positive both in front of guests' and among fellow associates.20. On check in room all guests.21. Participate in 15 minute training sessions22. Actively participate in meetings, and provide thoughts and 23. Strive to achieve single contact resolution for our guests.
