Looking to work as a Food & Beverage Associate for one of the World's hospitality leaders? Here at the Marriott Meon Valley Hotel & Country Club we have an exciting opportunity to offer...The Marriott Meon Valley is based on the outskirts of Southampton (nr Fareham)We are looking to hire Casual Conference & Banqueting Associates to join our Conference and Banqueting team. This postition is a offered on a casual contract - working as and when required. Regular hours are not guarenteed, hours are purely offered as required by the business.

Requirements
Food and beverage service skills Understanding of balance and symmetry on buffet layout Understanding of spoken and written English Hospitality experience Positive attitude Banqueting Flexibility Team Player

Responsibilities
  • Set tables within assigned area
  • Assist in buffet set up
  • Know the menu for each function served
  • Follow timing procedures for each course
  • Greet and serve guests
  • Acknowledge and respond to all guest requests
  • Keep station neat and clean during service
  • Know and use suggestive selling


    • Benefits Package
    As a casual Marriott Associate, you will not be entitled to company benefits. However, holiday pay will be rolled into your hourly wage adding 12.1% extra per hour, forefitting holiday entitlements.
