The stunning Sofitel London St James is located in the former home of Cox and Kings bank in the very heart of London, England. This sympathetically renovated building is English heritage grade II listed and now houses one of London s most unique five-star hotels - combining traditional British design with a contemporary style that is unmistakably French. The award winning Brasserie Roux restaurant offers first class French Brasserie cuisine and these high standards are reflected throughout the 186 bed hotel.

We are looking for a Security Officer to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Security Department and maintain at all times a professional approach in order that the high standards of service, safety and customer care are met. Relation with guests and team members is the essence in this prestigious 5 star property and you will demonstrate a maximum flexibility in all aspects.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Security Officer in a similar position with an interest in hospitality, excellent customer service skills and customer-oriented manners.

You must have SIA Door security Licence and a minimum of 2 years experience in the security industry within hotels.

You will ensure exemplary standards of security and customer service are provided to all our guests in accordance with company procedures.

This is a demanding role, which requires a reliable, enthusiastic, confident, friendly individual with a positive personality. The successful candidate will have had previous experience of Fire prevention and first aid knowledge as well as excellent telephone manners.

Duties and responsibilities:
To be part of a team of security officers responsible for providing a professional security service appropriate to a high end 5 star environment ensuring that all aspects of security are delivered in every task undertaken and that duties are carried out in a professional manner.
