| | Job Description Assists the Front Office Manager in administering front office functions and supervising staff on a daily basis. Front office areas include Concierge, Door Staff, Switchboard/AYS, Guest Services and the Front Desk. Position directs and works with managers and associates to carry out procedures ensuring an efficient check in and check out process. Ensures guest and associate satisfaction and maximizes the financial performance of the department.
Requirements The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years Hotel experience within the Front Desk, guest services or a related professional area. A 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major is desirable however, not essential.The successful hire will have strong skills and knowledge in all of the following: oral comprehension, reading comprehension, writing, and computer skills.
Responsibilities Exceed customer expectations by providing a service that goes above and beyond. Work with the Front Office Manager to lead the Front Office team; influencing and encouraging all members to provide the best possible customer services at all times. Other responsibilities include aiding with decision making, improving service by communicating and assisting individuals to understand guest needs, providing guidance, giving feedback, and coaching associates in order maintain engagement.
