The Role

As Housekeeping Supervisor, under the general guidance of the Head Housekeeper and Assistant Head Housekeeper, you will help direct and manage all operations and employees in Housekeeping so as to obtain the highest quality of cleanliness, and to provide efficient, prompt, courteous, trouble free and proactive service to customers; hence maximising guest satisfaction.

The role involves supervising and motivating the housekeeping team to ensure that the rooms are cleaned to the required high standard and on time for check in. You will be required to complete all required paperwork following the correct procedures.

All work will be in line with the hotel’s guidelines and business plan, the departmental business plan, and Park Plaza Hotels’ corporate guidelines and service concepts.

The Person

We are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality. The ideal candidate will be organised, an excellent communicator, a hands on supervisor who has excellent attention to detail. Experience of working in a housekeeping department of a similar quality hotel is required and previous experience of working with Fidelio / Opera is beneficial. The ideal candidate will be individual and passionate about their work and be able to contribute to creating an environment that inspires the housekeeping team and promotes employee morale and teamwork.
