Reports to Hotel General Manager
A self-motivated and goal-oriented individual with excellent telephone skills and a passion for sales is required to qualify and research sales leads for the Corporate and Meetings market. Using effective listening and questioning techniques and the ability to build rapport with potential customers, the Sales Researcher will actively convert sales leads into appointments to bring new business into the hotel. Previous experience in a sales environment and the proven ability to close a sale is therefore preferred. A high standard of personal presentation is required as the Sales Researcher will also meet some customers face-to-face and conduct showrounds within the hotel. Good administrative and computer skills are needed to keep records up to date and ensure professional correspondence with our customers.
