An outstanding opportunity to play the leading Chef Role at The Booking Office Restaurant & Bar in the world renowned St Pancras Renaissance Hotel London. The role is accountable for the management of all kitchen operations on a daily basis within the Booking Office, Platform, Lobby Lounge and In Room Dining to ensure a consistent, high quality food product. As the lead person for the Booking Office area, directs and works with the Executive Chef, food and beverage management team and associates to successfully execute all kitchen operations within the Booking Office, Platform, Lobby Lounge and In Room Dining; strives to continually improve guest and associate satisfaction and maximize the financial performance in areas of responsibility. The Booking Office Restaurant & Bar is a worldwide renowned destination operation that is known for its outstanding food & beverage, the kitchen operations has an extremely high volume of covers in all meal periods of which it is the Head Chef / Chef de Cuisines responsibility to ensure this volume is managed to the highest standards with the resources available in this Luxury / Lifestyle setting. http://www.bookingofficerestaurant.com The ideal candidate will have: Experience . Extensive experience at a high end established restaurant with both experience in restaurants and hotels.. Food and Beverage culinary management experience with demonstrated leadership.. Extensive experience and knowledge of five star F&B concepts within the local marketplace required within the luxury / lifestyle space.

Skills and Knowledge

. Excellent culinary skills; possesses the ability to perform all functions in the culinary operation which will be the main day to day duty of the Head Chef / Chef de Cuisine. . Extensive knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards. Experience in high volume operation and menu composition. Understanding of Restaurant, Lounge, In Room Dining, Afternoon Tea and Catering operational procedures. Effective decision making skills. Ability to acquire and maintain relationships e.g. associates, customers, vendors. Strong customer and associate relation skills. Knowledge of overall hotel operations as they affect kitchen and related areas. Good presentation . Good communication skills (verbal, listening, writing). Strong organization skills

Education or Certification

. High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. Culinary Education preferred. Certifications as required to comply with local and state codes
