Menus: Brunch, A La Carte, Afternoon Tea, Sunday Lunch

Role

Working within a brigade of 10 chefs under an award winning Head Chef, you will play an integral part in preparing seasonal menus using the freshest, finest ingredients available.

With good section rotation, responsibilities will include:

Running a Section Assisted by 1 Commis Chef

Menu Planning (able to submit menu ideas)

General Stock Control Including Section Orders

Daily Hygiene Procedures & Cleaning Duties

Junior Chef Training & Development

Maintaining good levels of organisation, section performance and efficiency with emphasis on delivering high levels of mise en place, food quality and presentation, you will cater for 70 – 120 covers for lunch and dinner.

Contracted to work 52 hours over 4 days (4 straight shifts from 9am – 11am incl. breaks), this fantastic position offers a well structured, high spec kitchen environment, ongoing in-house training and development, external courses, regular performance related salary reviews and excellent opportunities of progression and movement within this established Independent Group.

Candidate Profile

With proven Chef de Partie experience gained in similar quality restaurant and / or hotel operations, you will have good knowledge of modern British cuisine and a genuine passion to cook fine food.

Committed to delivering consistently high levels of food quality and presentation, you will be able to work well within a team, enjoy working under pressure and be able to work on your own initiative.

Demonstrating strong levels of technical skill and organisation, you will have a positive and committed approach in all areas of responsibility with good experience gained on all sections an advantage.

You will be up to date on current Hygiene Legislation.
