Job Description
To clean and maintain all kitchen equipment and utensils and to ensure that the kitchen and outlying area are thoroughly cleaned and maintained, in line with all current Health, Safety and Hygiene regulations and company standards.

Please be aware that this vacancy will be filled on a casual role which means that the candidate will be part of a pool of workers to whom the Company may offer work if it is available. However, the Company is under no obligation to offer available work to you and you are under no obligation to accept any work offered or to work a minimum number of hours in any particular week or month.

The salary for this position will be confirmed upon Interview and all brand standard training will be provided by the company.

Requirements
Marriott requires the highest standards from all of it's associates and therefore a well presented manner and an excellent standard of communication and personal hygiene is essential. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but a background working in the a busy kitchen is needed.

Experience of COSHH, Health and Safety and Food Hygiene is also a necessary requirement for this position.

Responsibilities
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. To ensure the kitchen and wash up areas are clear of dirty crockery etc. at all times, and ensure that all clean items are placed neatly in the appropriate place in the kitchen.

2. Ensure that the cleaning schedule is adhered to and standards of Health and Hygiene are maintained.3. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is thoroughly cleaned and stored in the correct manner,soas to minimise breakages.4. Ensure that all breakages and spillages are immediately cleaned up to prevent accidents. 5. Ensure the dishwasher at the end of every session is emptied and thoroughly cleaned out.6. Ensure that at the end of every session all cutlery and waste buckets are thoroughly cleaned out to prevent any food contamination.7. Ensure the detailed cleaning rota in both the Rare and European kitchens are carried out, documented and signed.
