The Wharf (previously known as Jacksons Wharf) in Castlefield has become part of the Brunning and Price group of pub restaurants, and after an extensive renovation programme is due to re-open in June 2012 with a fantastic kitchen equipped to the highest levels.
The potential here is enormous. Because of the internal volume of the Wharf, it will be one of our biggest pubs with 200+ covers inside and a fair bit of outside space too.
We’re looking for ambitious and committed chefs with a passion for food who are ready to take the next step in their career.
For us it’s all about serving fresh, simple, high quality traditional dishes extremely well and all of our pubs are featured in the Good Pub Guide.
This will be a busy working environment, and as well as having high standards and demonstrating good attention to detail, you’ll help the crew set the bar high in terms of delicious dishes, effective kitchen controls and excellent standards of health and hygiene.
We see our CDP’s and Senior CDP’s as being on the first step of the ladder to a senior chef role and we’ll provide support and development opportunities for you along the way.
