Job DescriptionNight Luggage Porters work through the night and greet and welcome all guests, as well as offering a high degree of professionalism in the concierge area. Night Porters are also responsible for ensuring that all overnight duties are completed in a timely and professional manner. Night Porters serve all guests by providing the highest level of service in an efficient and courteous manner while following Marriott standards, procedures ad policies at all times.Applicants must be legally able to work in the UK.

Requirements

Skills and Knowledge

Fluency in English Excellent communication skills (listening, verbal, written) Good telephone skills A strong knowledge of the local Canary Wharf area is desirable

Experience

. Previous hotel experience required. 5 Star hotel experience preferred, preferably as a luggage porterPersonal Attributes Luggage Porters must be friendly and approachable, as well as having a high degree of professionalism and integrity. They must be exceptionally reliable and be able to work under their own motivation. We are looking for a true ambassador to the hotel and someone who will represent our hotel throughout the night!
