The success of our Great British Carvery restaurants is down to the quality of food and service and the General Manager’s ability to recruit a team who will deliver premium food consistently and expertly to exceed our customers’ expectations.

Our General Managers are extremely versatile, having an extensive range of skills and experience to call upon which in turn ensures all areas of the business run effectively at all times.

Whether it’s being the host at Sunday lunch, ensuring the tables are fully laid up when our customers arrive or liaising with customers for a celebratory dinner. As a General Manager within our Fresh Dining division you will be empowered to manage your business, drive sales and be a key part of your local community.

As General Manager you will be fully accountable for the safe and profitable operation of the restaurant.

You will need to:

  • Have a proven track record of managing a high volume value driven Pub / Restaurant, ideally in a branded environment
  • Be a hands-on, inspirational leader who enjoys the excitement of driving sales and profit.
  • Be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service through your team and impeccable house standards
  • Be willing to think out of the box to drive sales and communicate the importance of “Britishness” where possible.
  • Be pro-active in the search to develop the next generation manager through our fantastic internal training programme.
