An exciting vibrant new concept is looking to recruit an experienced General Manager to run this high volume venue.
Reporting into the Director you will take full operational control of this 60k+ week restaurant. You will be looking after a team of around 50 staff including a 3 strong management team. As well as running the restaurant you will look after the back office duties such as payroll, stock control and ordering. On the management side of things you will take control of training, mentoring and developing of junior members of staff. You will conduct appraisals and reguarly review staff and ensure they are offering only the highest levels of customer service at a fast pace.
We nee d candidates who have worked in fast paced, high volume units and have managed a large team. You must have impressive customer service skills and be able to inspire a team of enthusiastic staff. The restaurant serves Asian cuisine so ideally you will have some experience with Asian foods and be able to assist in training the staff to understand the menu. Candidates MUST have a personality which staff and customers will instantly warm to and respect from the start. As well as having a strong operational background you also must have a sound financial acumen and be able to run a business.
