Our independent locals are pubs which aim to be at the heart of their community. Our managers’ success is driven by providing a fantastic atmosphere for our customers to come and enjoy a bite to eat, a pint or one of our fair trade coffees!!

Excellent food, a wide range of drinks, Sky sport, pool and machines ensure there is something for everyone. In the main these pubs have the full Sky Sports package and 2 boxes so you’ll never miss a match along with the fantastic 3DTV screens, which our local pubs were the first in the industry to have!

We encourage our General Managers to get involved with ‘all things local’, be it sponsoring the junior football team, running regular charity nights, having the best quiz in town or supporting local businesses – if it is local our General Managers will be at the heart of it.To sum up an Independent Local, our managers are ‘the entertainer, agony aunt, careers advisor, sports pundit, quiz master and chef all rolled into one!

As a General Manager you will be fully accountable for the safe and profitable operation of a busy Pub / Restaurant.

You will need to:

• Have a proven track record of managing a busy quality driven local’s pub
• Be a hands-on, inspirational leader who enjoys the excitement of driving sales and profit.
• Be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service through your team and impeccable house standards
• Be willing to think out of the box to drive sales and communicate the importance of “community” where possible.
• Be pro-active in the search to develop the next generation manager through our fantastic internal training programme.
