Company Profile
This established Catering Company with its Production Kitchen based in South East London has now won a substantial 5 year City contract with forecasted catering for approx. 1,000 delegates.
With a 12,000 sq ft Central Production Unit and introducing a new style a la Carte menu, dishes will ultimately offer a hot and cold Brasserie style of cooking promoting healthy, nutritional eating including both Vegetarian & Vegan options.
Supported by a small brigade with all food freshly prepared daily on site, menus are to be developed on an ongoing basis with particular focus on generating new Business.
Role
Supported by a Junior Chef Assistant, you will in charge of day to day running of the production operation.
Responsibilities:
Preparation & packaging of food orders
Stock control: ordering, supplier liaison, deliveries, invoices, wastage control, GP calculation
Rotas, recruitment, training, briefings, job chats & disciplinaries
Due diligence: Hygiene, H&S records & procedures, cleaning rosters
Management meetings with Partners
Contracted to work Monday to Friday, 6.00am – 4.00pm, you will also have involvement in the Night Production side of the business.

Candidate Profile
Min of 5 yrs experience at Snr Chef level gained working within quality, high volume Events / Production operations and / or Restaurant / Brasserie establishments
Genuine passion & ability to cook at min. 2AA Rosette standard
Ability to deliver quality & consistency in a pressured working environment
Motivating leadership style – strong Skill set including good Finance management
Up to date on Hygiene legislation
Salary & Benefits
£30,000 Basic Start Salary & KPI Bonus Package (currently under review)
3 Months Probationary Period: Regular Performance Related Salary Reviews
Working Hours: 6.00am – 4.00pm Monday to Friday (some flexibility required)
