Job Description
To welcome guests on arrival & assist with luggage. Drive mini bus as and when required for guests or staff runs. To escort guests to rooms and explain room facilities. Store luggage for guests on request, following security guidelines. To handle and deliver guest messages. To provide guests with local information, maps and directions. Supply guests with additional items as requested in the absence of departmental staff. To collate and deliver morning newspapers. Ensure hotel entrance and lobby area is clean and tidy at all times. Deliver early / late room service when F&B associates are not on duty. Ensure flags are raised / lowered following proper flag etiquette. Maintain all logs as is necessary for the department. Performs other related tasks as assigned by management. Complies with Marriott International Hotels Limited Regional Office policies and procedures. Working hours as required to do your job but normally not more than 40 hours per week.Experience:. Previous experience working within a hotel / driving position;. Experience of night shift;. Customer service.. Skills and Knowledge . Strong Communication skills (verbal, listening, writing);. Standards driven;. Pro-active and reliable;. Able to work alone and within a team.Education or Certification . Good level of English essential; . Current & clean driving licence held.
