Hands on Sous Chef required for a high volume hotel located in Staffordshire
Role:
A Sous Chef is required to take on a management role alongside the other senior chefs at a hotel that offers fresh food in its various outlets including restaurants and very large banqueting facilities (regen system).The hotel has a strong focus on the training and development of the team of chefs with daily training sessions taking place in order to ensure that the high standards are always met by all the team and all hygiene regulations are followed.This Sous Chef position will offer you the chance to work within a state of the art kitchen in a varied role that will allow you to further develop your own skills in order to progress your career.
Requirements:
It is necessary that all applicants to this Sous Chef role have a strong track record in training, developing and leading a team in a busy kitchen.Previous high volume cooking within a fresh food environment is essential for this role with candidates having experience working in four star, banqueting led operations.
