Temporary Chef

My client part of the local authority has asked me to source an experienced Cook for various temporary shifts in and around the Durham and Newcastle area.

The ideal person will possess the following;

• Up to date working experience
• NVQ level 2 or equivalent
• Industrial cooking experience
• Large scale banqueting
• Ability to work in a team or on your own dependant on venue
• Able to take instruction
• Current CRB ideally enhanced
• Two current references to cover past five years
• Access to transport due to some of the locations
• Commitment to work at short notice
• Food hygiene certification which is current
• Two forms of i.d. one of which must be a passport or birth certificate

The job;-

• Working for various government bodies.
• Providing holiday and sickness support
• Working at short notice as per our interview brief
• Commitment to Gem whilst representing us in role
• Proven cooking skills
• Excellent personal appearance
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Eligible to work in the UK

The salary varies depending on assignment but is in-line or above national minimum wage
