Very successful restaurant group in the UK & Europe, with over 35 restaurants ranging from Brasserie to trendy cocktail bar to Michelin star restaurant .
The restaurant has 100 cvr & a team of 15 FOH staff + 10 bar staff
As Restaurant supervisor / Assistant Manager your main responsibilities will include :
- To supervise Head Waiters, Sommelier, Commis Waiters and Receptionists, ensuring that the correct standards and methods of service are maintained.
- To ensure consistent communication from the restaurant to the manager
- To assist in ensuring that rotas are posted and timesheets submitted on time.
- Ensure efficient flow of service and standards are constantly met during service
- Demonstrate a high standard of restaurant and personal presentation, ensuring good personal hygiene of self and team
- To strictly adhere to the department’s operational budget and ensure that all costs are controlled and expenditure approved.
- To be able to conduct and supervise all cashiering and reporting procedures
- To assist in and co-ordinate the training of all employees, ensuring that they have the necessary skills to perform their duties with the maximum efficiency and in the most productive manner.
- To assist the restaurant team in providing all staff with on-going service standards training as well as food and beverage product knowledge.

To be successful you will need:
- Previous restaurant experience
- Previous experience as a Head Waiter
- Supervision experience
