Busy Gastro Pub Requires Commis Chef Essex £12000

My client is looking for a Commis for their bustling gastro pub in Essex. To describe the pub it is a balance between a traditional English pub and a high quality restaurant. The client is not too worried about qualifications; they just require a chef who has passion, drive and a willingness to learn.

The client owns two businesses in very close proximity, so there is a choice of location to where you work. The owners describe the style of the pubs as casual elegant and are very customer focused. The menus are well thought out, inventive and cater for a wide range of appetites and preferences. The executive chef describes the style of food as European; this ranges from light snacks to A La Carte at lunchtime and dinnertime. The pub uses only fresh produce and has won ‘The Locally Produced Food Supporter Award’.

The pubs have very recently been refurbished and have brand new, modern kitchens. You will be dealing with between 70 and 150 covers; the pubs do not do functions as such but do cater for private dining (Up to 30 covers from a set A La Carte menu).
