Assistant Sommelier

Our client is a 3AA Rosette Restaurant currently recruiting for an Assistant Sommelier

The Role: Assistant Sommelier

Role Criteria

• The ideal Assistant Sommelier will have previous 4 or 5 star hotel experience or worked within quality rosetted restaurants
• The Assistant Sommelier will be responsible for advising on specific wines and maximizing wine sales throughout the restaurant / hotel
• The Assistant Sommelier will be responsible for ensuring high levels of customer service.
• The Assistant Sommelier will be reporting directly into and liaising closely with the Consultant Wine Director.
• Assistant Sommelier must be highly customer focused, good communication skills and the ability to work within the team effectively
• The successful Assistant Sommelier will have at least 2 / 3 years supervisory experience within a similar operation
• Excellent opportunity for an experienced Assistant Sommelier / Supervisor looking for a progressive and challenging role
