General Manager – High Profile & High Volume Café/Restaurant Chelsea - £35,000+
Our client is an established, high profile and extremely busy café/restaurant based within the affluent suburb of Chelsea. It turns over a staggering 800 covers during the summer months yet ca be a lot quieter during winter. They serve a mix of Cosmopolitan Breakfasts through to rotisserie chickens and lots of fresh fish. They are famous for their afternoon teas al fresco within their trendy courtyard
As a General Manager you will be expected to manage a team of thirty. You will be Quality driven, Very well organised and well presented with an eye for detail. You will be responsible for all aspects of the day to day management of this extremely high volume operation. You will maintain and build on the relationships with your customers and be able to work well under pressure.
Ideally you will be from a high volume restaurant or Café with exceptionally high standards of service and food, experience with quick turn around and 500+ covers per day is essential at General Manager level. You will have the support of a well trained junior team and two Assistant Managers.
