We require a Sous Chef to work at a well-established sports bar restaurant situated in Norwich hotel. The kitchen serves high quality traditional English cuisine which is made from fresh produce sourced from local suppliers whenever possible.
As Sous Chef you will be expected to run the sports bar restaurant with minimal supervision from the Head Chef in the neighboring hotel restaurant. Although he will write your menus and help you whenever needed it will be up to you to up hold the standards set and lead the junior chefs.
You will need to have experience of working with traditional English menus and a strong background within the catering industry, preferably within a similar establishment. NVQ 2 or above would be beneficial but experience and enthusiasm are essential.
The hotel where the bar is situated also offers live in accommodation at a small fee of £42 per month! This is a fantastic opportunity not only to work with talented chefs and fresh ingredients but near to Norwich town centre as well.
