Sous Chef - Cambridgeshire - live in - £21,000 - Sous Chef

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Sous Chef to join the brigade of bustling village pub on the outskirts of Cambridge. The establishment thrives on its food trade and uses fresh local produce to make their seasonal menus and need a confident Sous to complete the brigade.

The establishment has a 120 cover restaurant which is often filled to capacity as the reputation goes far beyond the village and many customers are drawn out of the town centre to its peaceful and friendly environment.

The kitchen has a brigade of five and a good team player is a must for this position as co-ordination and communication are key elements to this role.

You should have a strong background in a similar role where you have worked with large numbers of covers, fresh food and a pub environment.

Also you should have a good knowledge of health and hygiene regulations, menu planning and stock taking, as you would be expected to take charge in the Head Chefs absence.
