We are actively seeking a Head chef for this high volume branded restaurant Group. This role is a very challenging position, and it demands very strong organisational and culinary skills to help maintain and increase standards.
Ideally you will have been working for a minimum of 2 years in a similar position or currently a Head chef of a busy establishment.Proven man management skills area must together with a calm nature an obsessive desire to succeed with an ambition to move the business forward. Good team leadership skills are a must with self motivation, this role would suit an individual who thrives under pressure, and has a dynamic personality, with high energy and drive.The ideal candidate will be very confident and hard working.
You will be responsible for the over seeing of the kitchen that serves upwards of 300 meals per day. Supervision and training of all kitchen staff is an important part of this role together with working within the company menu guidelines, purchasing, implementing system controls, as well as ensuring that health and safety and food hygiene are maintained to the highest standard. You must have a very good business financial understanding, to achieve both margins and given food cost percentages together with dealing with Profit and loss accounts.
