Sous Chef
Our client is a 5* Hotel within Cardiff which is currently recruiting for a Sous Chef to join the re-opening of this 15 million pound project and run the fine dining restaurant which is aiming to achieve 3AA Rosette.
The successful candidate will have full responsibility of running the fine dining restaurant with a brigade of 9 chefs.
The operation consists of a 80 cover 3AA rosette restaurant, 300 cover banqueting operation all run by a brigade of 17chefs within a 150+ bedroom hotel
- £2,000 tronc per year

The Role: Sous Chef
Role Criteria
- The ideal Sous Chef will have previous 3,4 or 5 star hotel experience or worked within quality restaurants
- The Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting in maintaining high levels of hygiene and health and safety
- The Sous Chef will be responsible for junior staff development and ensuring high levels of food standards are achieved
- The Sous Chef will be reporting directly into the Head Chef
- Sous Chef must be passionate and the ability to cope under pressure
- The successful Sous Chef will have at least 2 years experience at chef de Partie / level or higher within a similar operation.
