We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Sous Chef to join the brigade of bustling pub / restaurant on the outskirts of Cambridge.
The establishment has a 120-cover restaurant which is always bustling with local trade and visitors from further afield drawn by a fantastic reputation.
The kitchen has a brigade of five and a good team player is a must for this position as co-ordination and communication are key elements to this role.
They thrive on their food trade and uses fresh local produce to make their seasonal menus and need a confident Sous.
You should have a strong background in a similar role where you have worked with large numbers of covers, fresh food and a pub environment.
Also you should have a good knowledge of health and hygiene regulations, menu planning and stock taking, as you would be expected to take charge in the Head Chefs absence.
