We are looking for a Head Chef for a well-established, 3 star Hotel in near Bury St Edmunds. You will need to have previous experience at Head Chef level in a similar establishment with a solid background.
You must have experience in, menu writing, costing, stock rotation, due diligence, staff rotas, maintaining cleanliness and leadership.
You should be:
Able to run the kitchen in a disciplined and systematic manner
Strong management skills and the ability to delegate
Excellent leadership and motivational skills
Ability to maintain high standards under pressure
Strong communication skills and ability to liase with senior management
The kitchen is good is well set out and equipped with modern appliances making it a fantastic place for creating and developing dishes.
Once established as the Head Chef opportunities you will have the opportunity to move things forward achieving and other accolades should you wish to push things further.
