Commis Chef - £13,000 + Live in, North Norfolk Hotel, 2 rosettes
As Commis Chef you will be required to assist a very talented brigade in this rosette restaurant. The ideal candidate will maintain the highest culinary standard whilst on duty by following the menu specifications as set by the Head Chef.
You will be required to ensure that storage, preparation, production and presentation of all foods are in line with the customer expectations and those of the hotel.
You will ensure the cleanliness of all food preparation and storage areas to the highest set standards, maintain a proactive awareness of Health and Safety standards.
The Head chef would like a Commis chef who is passionate about food as he welcomes ideas for menu development.
Further progression is very possible and training & development will be provided.
About our Client
The conservatory restaurant with sun deck terrace and adjoining dining area give spectacular views overlooking the Norfolk Coastal Path and the tidal marsh.
The extensive menu changes daily and boasts the best of fresh local produce. Shellfish, when in season, includes cockles, mussels and oysters from the ‘beds’ at the bottom of the garden.
For all day eating there is the bar or sunken courtyard menu.
