Contemporary designer hotel in Norwich are currently seeking a front desk manager. We’re seeking a professional, customer focussed individual who is organised, communicates well and has strong management skills. This is a busy hotel and requires an experienced candidate with a good base of skills in all areas of reception.
The role
Maintaining a team who can create an excellent first impression to all visitors
Maximising sales and upselling, good understanding of revenue management and ability to maximise room occupancy
Overseeing website and liaising with internet booking companies
Liase with sales and marketing to oversee promotions
Group and corporate bookings
Ensuring accuracy of all room, restaurant and C&B bookings and billing
Team of 6 reporting to you including receptionists, reservations, night staff
The person
Good head for business and excellent communication skills
Strong trainer and motivator of staff
Should have good financial awareness
Excellent customer service skills
Able to handle customer complaints in a professional manner
An effective organiser, problem solver and delegator
Plenty of energy and enthusiasm,
Ability to lead and direct the department
Helpful, friendly and professional manner
Pro-active and able to use own initiative
