Financial Controller
My client is part of a leading 4* hotel with top level dining and spa facilites currently recruiting for a Financial Controller.
The property has more than 90 bedrooms, a turnover of 9m and 125 staff on the payroll.
The Role: Financial Controller
Role Criteria
- The ideal Financial Controller will have previous 4 or 5 star hotel experience in large self accounting 100+bed properties of venues with over £10m t/o.
- The Financial Controller will be responsible for ensuring the department runs smoothly at all times.
- The right Financial Controller will be in charge of the monthly forecasting, month/year ends and entire hotel budget.
- The Financial Controller will be responsible for accounts staff development and ensuring high levels of customer service.
- The Financial Controller will be reporting directly to the General Manager and the Owners
- Financial Controller must be highly customer focused, good communication skills and the ability to manage the team effectively
- The successful Financial Controller will have at least 2 / 3 years management or assistant level experience within a similar operation and CIMA/ACCA would be a distinct advantage, although is not essential.
- Excellent opportunity for an experienced Assistant Financial Controller looking for their first financial controller’s position.
