This is an excellent chance to become involved with a very unique venture, not only does it have access to the owners own farm ensuring that all the meat is of the highest quality and with the rest of the menu being sourced as locally as possible, but also the small Inn has 8 Bedrooms, which makes this a fantastic role for a chef that is capable of operating independently, producing high quality pub food.
- The restaurant does around 50 covers throughout the week with the usual highs and lows being attributed to Sunday lunches etc. The menu is that of a seasonal one, and changes regularly to take advantage of the local produce. The underlying theme of the food is traditional fare presented with flare.
- As expected the ingredients are of the highest quality, with the majority of them being sourced locally. The role will involve working along side part time help as well as kitchen porters.
- The role would suit someone who has experience in this type of establishment and or a Sous Chef in a recognised bistro Inn or hotel who is looking to branch out in to a different set up, and that wants that first taste of seniority and control in the kitchen.
- This position is a live in role, with the Head Chef having access to a two bedroom coach house. There would be also be a possible role front of house for Head Chef and partner. This would be available depending on experience.
