Sommelier

Our client is an outstanding 2AA Rosette restaurant specialising in fresh and high quality seafood currently recruiting for an Sommelier to advise discerning diners and maximise beverage revenue.

The Role: Sommelier

Role Criteria

• The ideal Sommelier will have previous 4/5 star hotel experience or worked within quality rosetted restaurants
• The Sommelier will be responsible for advising on specific wines and maximizing wine sales throughout the restaurant / hotel
• The Sommelier will be responsible for ensuring high levels of customer service.
• The Sommelier will be reporting directly into and liaising closely with the General and Restaurant Managers.
• Sommelier must be highly customer focused, good communication skills and the ability to work within the team effectively
• The successful Sommelier will have at least 2 / 3 years supervisory experience within a similar operation
• Excellent opportunity for an experienced Assistant Sommelier / Supervisor looking for a progressive and challenging role
