A talented Restaurant Manager is required for a beautiful luxury hotel in the heart of the Lake District.
This red star property has 15 bedrooms and has been awarded 3 AA Rosettes for its accomplished cuisine. The kitchen is looking to gain a Michelin star in the near future.
As Assistant Restaurant Manager you will be responsible for the smooth running of the fine dining restaurant ensuring that the impeccable levels of service are maintained at all times. You will have knowledge of food and wines and be able to train and develop your team to be the best they can be. The restaurant has around 30 covers and the cuisine is Modern British in influence.
The hotel also hosts private, exclusive parties and very popular for weddings in the summer.
As Assistant Restaurant Manager you will report to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager. You will also be expected to carry out duty management shifts due to the size of the property.
The hotel is part of a small, 5 star group of country house hotels and offers great development and progression throughout the group.
You will have a background in AA awarded Restaurants, preferably at 2/3 rosette level.
You will have an outgoing and enthusiastic personality and will be passionate about guest service. You will have an eye for detail and great communication and organisational skills.
