Our Client an upmarket busy fine dining restaurant is currently looking for a Wine and Beverage Manager to run their Wine Shop that works in tandem with the Restaurant.

Applicants will be required to have previous experience either as a Wine Shop Manager, or an Assistant Restaurant Manager that has an extensive background previous to this position as a Head Sommelier.

Working for the General Manager of the Restaurant you will be responsible for the wine shop and also the sommeliers working in the Restaurant, working closely with the Head Sommelier.

Ensuring that the shop is fully stock with around 1200 bins from all around the world

Handling of gp’s, budgets, finance, stock control, ordering, rotation, taking, staff tastings, training, providing an excellent standard of service to guests who are buying wine. Cashing up at the end of the day, improving sales with in the shop(currently around £5000 / week)

To apply you will need to be very well presented, have excellent customer service skills, great guest relations skills, be very organised and diligent. Have a superb knowledge of world wines etc.
