About the Job
We have a newly structured kitchen team that is looking for a Sous Chef. The role entails: -
- the management of a small but effective team,
- producing simple food cooked to a high standard,
- ensuring that food hygiene and safety standards are kept high,
- controlling costs.
About the Candidate
We are looking for a positive individual that has previous experience within a large operation serving 60-90 covers per night and also experience with banqueting. The position would suite someone who previously has worked as a sous chef or in a senior chef de partie role with a flair for quality food but also an administrative mind to be able to support the Head chef with keeping food safety records and to help with the financial administration of a kitchen this size.
