Shift Engineer

Role Description:

As Shift Engineer you will assist with the seamless running of all engineering aspects of this luxury property ensuring our guests receive the ultimate stay with us. You will be knowledgeable about all hotel maintenance and plant rooms.

As Shift Engineer, you will also be capable of working in a busy department and be adaptable and flexible in order to adjust to the day to day requirements of the engineering facility to maintain the property in an optimum and efficient condition, to the established standards.

Entry Requirements:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual who we anticipate will have worked in a similar role within the hospitality or travel and tourism industry. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is a fast learner, adaptable and has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Other skills that will need to be demonstrated include:

  • Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Engineering skills preferred holding or working towards City & Guilds 16th Edition qualifications or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, plumbing and general building maintenance
  • A high standard of personal presentation
  • Confident, professional and welcoming personality
  • Team Player
  • Passion for delivering outstanding customer service and have a friendly and outgoing personality
