My client is an established dining venue that offers a traditional Pub menu using fresh produce. Situated close to Beverley the Pub is open 7 days per week for both lunch and dinner and serves a traditional menu along with specials and also caters for private parties, christenings, birthdays and funerals in a private function room. On a weekly basis the Pub will serve around 600 covers per week, so we are looking for a candidate who is used to high volume but also someone who can produce a menu using fresh ingredients and homemade dishes. We are looking for a Head Chef who can lead the kitchen, can produce quality, homemade food and has a proven track record. You must be adaptable, hard working and have the ability to train and develop the kitchen team, that consists of a full time Sous Chef, one full time Commis, 2 x part time Commis, and two KP’s. You must understand food costings, health and safety and have the ability to maintain a 5 star food hygiene rating.
