(Fixed term contract for 6 months, with possible extension) We are looking for an ambitious Head Chef to join Delifonseca Dockside. The individual needs to understand and share the Delifonseca ethos which is a celebration of both great produce and professional cooking skills with our ever-changing blackboard as our ‘USP’. The current kitchen is a small and very busy operation, serving our restaurant 7 days a week, from breakfast until late. It also produces products for the deli counter in the food hall. Due to business expansion we will be installing a new larger kitchen as we expand the restaurant from 70 to 120 covers (plus outside seating). The role of Head Chef will demand input into the design of the new kitchen which will then serve the restaurant, the deli and our expanding outside catering operation. The successful applicant will have the advantage of working with a talented and established kitchen team. This is a busy and ambitious business and the ideal candidate needs to be the rare combination of a great chef, super organised, a thorough understanding of costings and most definitely good at team management.
