Join Walk for Wellbeing to promote better mental health and raise funds to support Hospitality Action

Walk For Wellbeing (previously known as Walk for Calm) has launched and is inviting the people of the hospitality industry to join its campaign to promote better mental health and raise funds to support the work of leading charity, Hospitality Action. Caterer.com are delighted to be sponsoring the event again this year, driving awareness of mental wellbeing and raising vital funds to support the incredible work of Hospitality Action.

Walk for Wellbeing is a fun, flexible event all about taking simple steps to promote wellbeing: getting out in the fresh air, moving and taking time to think, exercise, reflect and energise.

Those looking to participate are able to do so in their own way:

  • Hosted 20km challenges will take place in Birmingham, London, Manchester, and Glasgow on Sunday 16th October.
  • Participants can also challenge themselves in their own home location on any day between 8th to 16th October.

The event is accessible to all ages and abilities, regardless of fitness level. The event’s main aim is for participants to have fun whilst raising money and awareness for an important cause.

Hospitality Action offer vital assistance to all who work or have worked within the UK hospitality sector. As the charity reach their 185th year, the goal is to recruit 185 individuals or teams nationwide.
